The best man for your party!

Yussi played at my engagement party. I gave him very little instructions and completely left it up to him and he knew exactly what to do.He was extremely prompt and professional and there were no technical glitches at all. The set he played was amazing and we were totally blown away with his beautiful and talented skills! He created a whole other element in the room and knew exactly when to tone it down. We were beyond impressed with him and would love to use him in the future. Thank you Yussi for making our party so special!

Yussi Wenger - Amazing guitarist! Style: Nylon String-latin,jazz,world,gypsy,classical. Electric-rock, shred, country, and much more. This crazy and eccentric Swiss dude basically plays any style you can think of, really well! I've taken lessons from him, and I'm still trying to bend my mind over what he showed me. Super fast shredder and music theory master that proficiently and creatively plays 7 and 8 string Flamenco guitars (yes thats what I said). A multi instrumentalist, he plays bazooki, oud, mandolin, and about 15-20 other exotic string instruments from around the world. 
A graduate of the GIT program, and now an instructor there, and author of several published music books as well.
Whether you realize it or not, there is no doubt you've heard his playing placed in film and tv over the years. 
An avid reader, Yussi knows a lot about a lot of different things, especially beer and guitar, which must be why we get along so well.

Swiss-born guitarist/composer Yussi is truly a citizen of the world when it comes to composing and arranging his own music. His latest release, "Exotic Wizard", is a case in point. He takes us on a journey to faraway lands and disparate cultures, often within the same song. We learn to expect the unexpected here--in "Blood & Wine", for example, we have odd meter passages invoking folk music of the Balkans suddenly appearing alongside rumba flamenca and reggae sections. Yussi dazzles as well on his solo 7-string excursions, as on "The Last Etude", which to my ear echoes Paganini's "Caprice No. 1", its rapid-fire arpeggios simulating the ricochet violin bowing technique of the 19th-century violin master. On "Besjana" we hear Yussi's Middle Eastern inflections over a raga form, complete with sitaristic passages and plenty of fretboard fireworks. Fans of Strunz and Farah and Jesse Cook will find much to enjoy in "Exotic Wizard"--however, Yussi's impressive command of such a wide range of musical languages truly sets him apart.
